What Affects Your Price

Project Scope & Size

Larger projects with more material naturally cost more. A single-car garage costs less than a two-car attached garage. A half-bath demo costs less than a primary bathroom with a soaking tub.

Site Accessibility

Properties on steep hills in neighborhoods like Mission Hills, La Jolla, or Tierrasanta may require specialized equipment, which can increase costs compared to flat, easy-access lots.

Hazardous Materials

Homes built before 1980 in San Diego may contain asbestos or lead paint. Certified abatement must be completed before demolition, which adds $2,000 to $10,000+ depending on the extent.

Permits & Regulations

Most demolition projects in San Diego require permits ($200–$1,500). Demo Diego handles all permit applications and inspections as part of our service, and permit costs are included in our quotes.

Debris Weight & Volume

Heavy materials like concrete, tile roofing, and cast iron cost more to haul and dispose of. We recycle as much as possible to keep disposal costs down and meet San Diego's waste diversion requirements.

Urgency & Scheduling

Standard scheduling has no premium. Same-day junk removal is available at no extra charge when our trucks have capacity. We never charge rush fees for demolition projects.

Pricing FAQ

Do you charge for estimates?

No. All estimates are completely free with no obligation. For demolition projects, we come to your property for an in-person assessment. For junk removal, you can often get a quote over the phone or by texting photos to 760-860-8080.

Are permits included in the price?

Yes. For demolition projects that require City of San Diego or county permits, the permit fee and our time handling the application are included in your quote.

Is debris hauling and disposal included?

Yes. Every quote includes complete debris removal, hauling, and disposal or recycling at licensed San Diego County facilities. You will never be surprised by a separate disposal charge.

Do you offer discounts for contractors?

We offer volume pricing and recurring service discounts for general contractors, property managers, and real estate investors with ongoing demolition and junk removal needs. Call us to discuss contractor pricing.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, checks, credit cards, Venmo, and Zelle. Payment is due upon completion of the work. For large commercial projects, we can arrange milestone billing.

Can the price change after you start?

Our flat-rate quotes are locked in. If we encounter unexpected conditions during the project (like hidden asbestos or additional concrete under soil), we stop and discuss the options with you before any additional charges. You are always in control.
